PTC sites attacked by DDoS - What is DDos?

Yesterday i posted something about this DDoS attack in InnovaBux and also SvBux...but i don't really know about this kind of attack.
So as i promised, today i'am searching for the truth of life..ups i mean about this DDoS things.
And i found it in Mr. Google search engine.
Here what i've got...
Distributed Denial Of Service Attack (DDoS) is an attempt to make a computer resource unavailable to its intended users. Although the means to carry out, motives for, and targets of a DoS attack may vary, it generally consists of the concerted efforts of a person or people to prevent an Internet site or service from functioning efficiently or at all, temporarily or indefinitely.
Perpetrators of DoS attacks typically target sites or services hosted on high-profile web servers such as banks, credit card payment gateways, and even root nameservers (ehmm..wait a minute, PTC site isn't mentioned there ^^).
What is the 'symptoms' of somebody getting attacked by this?
- unusually slow network performance (opening files or accessing web sites) --> this is definetely what happened when i accessed InovaBux and SvBux few days ago.
-unavailability of a particular web site
-inability to access any web site
- dramatic increase in the number of spam emails received (e-mail bomb).
Wow...now i know why it's so hard to get access into those PTC sites.
This DDoS attacks consumed the site's bandwith, so that the member of this site couldn't log in to their account.
But whoever did this, is considered violations of the IAB's Internet proper use policy, and also violate the acceptable use policies of virtually all Internet Service Providers.
Fiuuhh...you better protect your web site before this attacked come to your place.

Untuk IncraseBux bisa dicoba untuk Premium Level dulu kalau nggak yakin.
